Bugsway Pest Control is committed to ensuring that our website and services are accessible to all individuals, including those with disabilities. We strive to meet or exceed the requirements of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA) and to align our digital content with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards.

2.1 Visual Accessibility
- All images include descriptive alternative text (alt text)
- Colour contrast ratios meet or exceed WCAG 2.1 AA standards (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text)
- Text can be resized up to 200% without loss of content or functionality
- We do not rely on colour alone to convey information
- Decorative images are marked so screen readers can skip them
2.2 Navigation and Structure
- The website is navigable using a keyboard alone
- Focus indicators are visible for keyboard navigation
- Pages have descriptive title elements
- Heading hierarchy is logical and consistent
- Skip-to-main-content links are provided
- All form inputs have associated labels
2.3 Interactive Elements
- All interactive elements (buttons, links, form controls) are accessible via keyboard
- Error messages are descriptive and guide users toward correction
- Links have descriptive text that indicates their destination or function
- Sufficient time is provided for time-sensitive interactions where applicable
2.4 Multimedia
- Videos, where included, include captions and audio descriptions
- Audio content includes transcripts
- Flashing or moving content is avoided where possible

In accordance with the AODA Customer Service Standard, Bugsway is committed to providing accessible customer service to people with disabilities. We will:

4. Multi-Year Accessibility Plan
Bugsway maintains a Multi-Year Accessibility Plan in accordance with the IASR. Our plan includes ongoing review of our website and customer-facing materials to identify and address accessibility gaps. A copy of our current Multi-Year Accessibility Plan is available upon request.

Bugsway is committed to accessible employment practices, including:

6. Known Accessibility Limitations
While we strive for comprehensive accessibility, we acknowledge that some content may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards. We are actively working to improve the following areas:
- Some older PDF documents linked from the website may not be fully accessible β we are working to replace these with HTML alternatives
- Third-party embedded content (such as Google Maps or external booking tools) may not fully meet our accessibility standards β we work with our vendors to improve accessibility where possible

We offer phone and email booking, and can provide written inspection reports and treatment summaries on request. We do not charge additional fees for accessible service accommodations.
